Basically we want to let the app know which users are confirmed and which are joined. From my conversation with Kobe, we decided a flag indicating the confirmation state would be a good idea in the attendee list. If the activity is not confirmed, the flash would be true. This maps to user profile pictures being opaque vs. Greyed out.
