Single character comment syntax? #5

I like how -- looks, but a single character like # (as in Python) or ; (as in Scheme and other Lisps) would be more concise.

I "asked around" (i.e. asked to chat bot) and then verified myself, apparently # is the most common single-line comment syntax. Some of the languages that use single #: (ignoring shells)

We've switched to # a while ago.
