Firebase Auth works for all other mobile service providers except a specific one called Econet in Zimbabwe #8328

Describe the problem

NextJS App, everything was working great, until last week, phone numbers for specific Mobile Network always show error 39 when we make OTP request, other network operators it works perfectly

Steps and code to reproduce issue

Buy an Econet line ( MNO in Zimbabwe) set up firebase phone auth, and try get OTP, the error will show up

Hi @krumpking,

This appears to be a Firebase service error code and not part of the Firebase SDK itself. I recommend that you open a ticket with Firebase Support. They can look into backend / service issues in specific geographic regions. I hope this helps!
