@waiot thanks for reporting! We'll have @abeisgoat look into this but in the meantime you could use the npm
installation method (npm install -g firebase-tools
) as a workaround since it seems like this is is an issue with the standalone binary.
@waiot can you try a recent version of the CLI? I believe this issue should be fixed.
