The latest commit was on 23th Feb 2022. Has Google stopped maintaining this project?

Version 6.0.1 is not production ready at all because the v9 code style is not compatible with Googles own reCaptcha library.

Doesn't really matter. It's not usable for me since I can't easily customize the styles. I use bootstrap for 90% of my work.
