🐛 [firebase_messaging] (iOS) Firebase message displays if the app is Foreground under iOS. #10133

Bug report

If the app is on the screen and I send a message it displays on iOS phones (not Android).

Steps to reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Get permissions

  1. Disable iOS foreground notifications (despite they disabled by default)

  2. Notification appears, despite it shouldn't.

Expected behavior

iOS app should have the same as Android behavior - if the app is Foreground the notifications do not show up.

Thanks for the report @awaik I tried the plugin example by disabling the foreground notification and then used the script to send a message with which the notification was not shown.

Can you try the same and see what behavior do you see ?

Ok, I found out the reason. This is a bug of awesome_notifications plugin. For those who experience the same bug, I would recommend changing it to local_notification as I faced a few more conflicts because of this plugin.
