I'm getting an error while running my app on web. The issue seems to be about initializing the Firebase app. I've got no issues on Android and iOS. On web, I get this error:

I have used the flutterfire_cli to add a new app for the web into my Firebase project and I've run flutterfire configure after adding it.

When I run the app in debug mode, the IDE stops at this point due to an exception:

Reproducing the issue

Create a new Flutter project.
Target web as well.
Set up Firebase and you should see the error.

When you call the Firebase.initializeApp without passing a value for the options field when dealing with web, this type of error usually occurs. I suggest you call Firebase.initializeApp like this Firebase.initializeApp(options: DefaultFirebaseOptions.currentPlatform) and try running the app again for web.

I had a similar problem with the initialization of the Firebase App. Flutter version: 3.22.3 Dart version: 3.4.4 firebase_core: ^3.3.0 A web project was created from scratch and "flutterfire configure" was successfully initialized. In the Flutter example code, Firebase.initializeApp(options: DefaultFirebaseOptions.currentPlatform) was implemented as requested in the walkthrough. Run in debug mode with Breakpoints All Exceptions selected and the error appears on initialization.
