This used to be possible in V1.8. Previous developer rewrote datagrid from ground up.
Martin please add feature where mouse thumbwheel will allow user to scroll through values without displaying any dropdown.
If user types S1. Then uses thumbwheel... only scrolls through sites starting S1. E.g. S1 S10 S11.
NOTE also applies to angle field and any other fields in the row which might work with this feature (count?)
