The assembly cache is disabled, not the FFC cache. There's no point caching assembled operators since this benchmark is purely about assembly and the operators are never (re)used. Does that clarify things?

Actually, don't know if this is an issue, probably not; it's likely I'm missing something. Why is the ffc cache disabled in
forms/firedrake_forms.py
? Since there's a warm up run, it seems like there's no point in keeping the cache disabled. What do you think @kynan ?
