Background Image #28

I love this add on but I'm having a problem with it. I can't seem to change my background image anymore. I clear and then browse for a new picture from my photos folder and when I choose one then click okay on the desktop preferences nothing happens. The picture stays the same. It just won't change. It's stuck on the first picture I chose. I'm using Firefox 36.0 and Desktop 1.4.11. I have tried older versions of your desktop add on but all of them shows the picture that I have now!. Do you have any solutions for this?? I would really like to get rid of that background picture that I have showing!!

I will take a look, but as a workaround you can remove the background file from the desktop folder of your firefox profile (you can find the profile location with this instructions)

It's working for me now. I see that it has a different popup box when I click on preferences. Don't know if it was because Firefox updated again or you fixed it. If you did fix it, thank you very much. I love it! It's the best homepage organizer, All of my favorite websites in one spot and a background picture of whatever I want!! Thank you for the workaround too. I never thought of that at the time. If something like this ever happens again, I'll know what to do! Thanks!!

I was not me, so probably it was Firefox updated. Glad to hear that everything works now!
