@avstudnitz What exactly needs to be translated, only the app/locale/nl_NL
or do I need to translate in other files as well (the xml files?)
Hi @paales, you have to take a look into the folder app/code/community/Firegento/MageSetup/etc/nl , you will need probably to create it and copy the files from the de
folder into the nl
folder and then translate the email.xml
and tax.xml
.
You may have to adapt the tax calculation rules by the way into the nl/tax.xml depending on what exists in Netherlands
Did I forget something?
Cheers
After a quick look I didn't see anything related to these two situations or did I miss something?
I believe these rules also apply to German store owners?
It already exists and it is implicitly generated thanks to the values located into the etc/config.xml
tag eu_countries
and in etc/COUNTRYCODE/tax.xml
. In this last file, there are rules and customer group for VAT companies. All customers who are part of Europe and belongs to the list in this tag eu_countries
and buy something in a shop located in Netherlands will have an applied Tax (or not if VAT number) of Netherlands.
The companies with VAT number should be into the customer group USt.-befreite Unternehmen
if you watch the tax.xml
for Germany. The tax_calculation_rate_3
is applied for them which is 0% Tax
You should try to launch the MageSetup module on a dev environment to see how it reacts for German or French country.
Dutch translation is available.
I created dutch tax settings in the dev branch. We need someone to translate the tax classes, email titles, cms settings and stuff like that (see #14). @paales has promised to do that :-) Oh, and please test the tax setup for the Netherlands.
