I would not recommend to do that, because firegento/magento-performance-tweaks is not meant to be the default for everyone (see drawbacks section in readme).

Maybe only the more "logical" elements

This module is intended to be independent from a specific Magento version and should exist independent from OpenMage/magento-lts as many people rely on it directly.
