is the co fig identical? Please post the old and new config
Sumokoin switched from cyptonight to cryptonight-heavy. Mining on cryptonight-heavy on CPU halves the number of usable core/threads compared to [regular] cryptonight because the cache requirement per core doubled (from 2MB to 4MB). Everyone cpu-mining Sumokoin experience this.
@psychocrypt They were, yes, however @tinsami1 answered that for me then :) Odd that fairpool.xyz still seems to accept the faster hashrate? But I'll switch to the newer in that case! Cheers
Switched over from XMR-Stak-CPU mining Sumokoin today to xmr-stak 2.4.2. Simply mining on a small CPU - E3-1220 V2 @ 3.10GHz.
xmr-stak-cpu using 3 cores was consistently sitting at 182H/s (still is). xmr-stak using either 3 cores sits around 80H/s, and 2 cores sits around 85H/s
OS is Arch Linux, fully up to date. Full build + output is below:
Output of
cmake -LA
:Output of
./xmr-stak --version-long
:Nothing overclocked or undervolted etc. Thanks!
