See #1385 there may be minimums for acceptance and/or delays of a free-time-availability nature You have yet to launch so we can't validate the network hashrate. Direct users to your fork until such time as requirements are valid, and then at that milestone it would become integrated and you can drop your fork. Also gives you another milestone for people to get excited about, maybe miners would help try and hit the 5MH/s if you tell them that goal gets the coin into mainstream...

Though being a hardfork with the 1:1 cross at 307K you might have 5MH/s on launch day, it just depends on how many 'signups'/converts you get at the cutover point.
