CN Bittube2 Settings #1757

This isn't an issue per say, more of a question for people who have been mining Bittube with Vega 56's and Vega 64's. I have been having trouble nailing down a intensity setting for my rig. I am running 2 Vega 64's and 4 Vega 56's. I have tried various intensity settings in the 900 range and they all resulted in a rather lackluster hashrate for my rig. I don't have my config file anymore, I deleted it after I got fed up with it.

Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated!

You must use two threads per gpu to get the full performance

I understand that, its the intensity, mem chunk, etc that I am having trouble nailing down.

Around 900 total, divide that into two host threads. But keep intensity divisible evenly by worksize so that comp_mode can be false.

Take any good intensity from 2MB block cryptonights and cut it in half for the 4MB block cryptonights...

Performance is about half of normal 2MB because... twice the block size

Awesome! Thanks Spudz! I'm going to give it a try here in a little bit.
