2.5.0 crashed on amd compiling while 2.47 not #1915

I download current bins from release, the "compiling" is the key word near the error:

Stability issue

It looks like your old gpu is not supporting 64bit addition but it can also be only a compiler issue. could you please update your driver to the latest version which supports your device.

It seems install latest AMD driver on server os is difficult(freezeing, BOSD etc.). The driver for issue case come out in 2013, after 6 hours try and error, only succeed in a 2014 version(but displayed as another model)

However the issue remains(2.47 ok, 2.50 crash) Since 2.47 worked well, what other operations can I do except update driver?

1922 has the same issue. One of the commands used in the new code is not

supported.

Have found some alternative drivers on vendor site, not on AMD, finally make it run again.

This issue is solved by #1945, never the less please test the PR and report back if all works fine.
