rx570 8 card only rejected shares in monero but 2 card RX 570 works 100% using hive os

hi, i have a 2 card test rig and a 8 card rig all amd 570,when i run the xmr stak miner (latest one for monero) the 2 card rig runs 100% but 8 card just gets rejected shares(same configs as i use hive os) no amd configs changed)

Basic information

• Type of the CPU.CPU 2 × Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G3930 @ 2.90GHz AES
• Type of the GPU (if you try to miner with the GPU). RX570 4gb

Compile issues

• Which OS do you use?hive os

  add **all** commands you used and the **full** compile output here
  ``xmr-stak-fireice-uk-2.5.0 version in hive os

  run cmake -LA . in the build folder and add the output here

Issue with the execution

• Do you compiled the miner by our own?

  run `./xmr-stak --version-long` and add the output here

AMD OpenCl issue

  run `clinfo` and add the output here

Stability issue

• Is the CPU or GPU overclocked?
• Is the Main memory of the CPU or GPU undervolted?

Windows driver can't be newer than 18.5.1 Linux driver in HiveOS is probably old enough to just work right, versus your other setup (too new, again) - Linux driver 18.1 maximum, or ROCm 1.9+ Always regen configs and hand transfer settings (that first line is to help ensure version, but only for the human, code does not check versions). "Same config files" makes me think you've copied not 'upgraded' them, which not only is no good for between versions but between OS is even less compatible. Use worksize 16, not 8.

They must be modified 18.2, the compiler was certainly trash however there are hacks to run the old compiler within the newer driver maybe they hacked that together. I dislike HiveOS as you can't tell what decisions they've already made for you, and you can't change anything easily.

I don't think the old blockchain drivers work either, use 18.5.1 not older not newer on Windows.

But then you have to figure out how to inject environment vars into HiveOS before it runs xmr-stak (if even possible).

Maybe ask on HiveOS support since it's their "fault" it doesn't work...

you have to ask HiveOS about how to put environment vars into HiveOS (or, stop using HiveOS... and do something we directly support like Ubuntu, where we know how to change the system, and can help you at all)

for ubunto you must use 17.X or thecomplete AMD ROCm stack.
