Many, many of these posts if you search and include closed topics. Miner code ended up in some trojans so now things tend to detect it, the proper thing to do is whitelist it and continue on... remember virus scanners are only guessing at what's going on, most of the time ("heuristics") so of course sometimes you have to tell it it's wrong, which is right. :)
When opening up xmr-stak 2.7.1 for the first time Windows Defender blocks this. If I allow it I can mine but if not it won't open stak. Is this safe?
