No there is no special way. Start the miner and both card types should be detected. The miner will create a config for both GPUs.
If somerhing not works please post the output of the miner from the first start where all configs will be created. Also post information about the OS you are using.
Hi, I also have a similar problem.
My configuration is Win 10 with AMD FX8350 and nvidia gtx560 GPU.
if I try to put in the pollstxt cryptonight_gpu the node does not start, while with cryptonight_r it only goes to CPU.

CiroTT87 dkwan8888 so whats the problem? on first start miner detects all hardware and creates config. No special tweaking is needed.
The hashrate is always 0

your amd gpu is very old. you can test different driver but users reported a lot of issues and it is not easy to find a driver which is working. I think amd 14.6 or so was the most used driver.

It is a older card, just given by friend and try to put it to work.
Thanks.

I will close this issue. You must search for a AMD driver which works well with this GPU. It is not very easy to find the right driver :-(
Is there a special way to config to work with both brand of video card?
Many thanks
