Add quantitative small scale verification cases #82

We need to add quantitative small scale verification cases to test that the functionality of the code matches expectation. Current cases to add:

Simple DEM with uniform, specified slope (tested with pixel_size < DEM grid, pixel_size = DEM_grid, and pixel_size > DEM_grid)
Simple DEM with two specified slopes meeting in a valley (tested with pixel_size < DEM grid, pixel_size = DEM_grid, and pixel_size > DEM_grid)
Simple specified DEM and land use (aligned and offset)
Simple specified DEM, land use, and fire layer (aligned and offset)

Are there other simple verification cases which we want to add?
