value for additional costs is too small at 500

recommend increasing value Attic r values

JdeLarbre218 commented 8 months ago

SAME applies for unfinished attic

value needs to be over 1000

Please consider what you expect is a reasonable limit and make a suggestion for consideration.

Range limits were adjusted in Fall 2023 based upon extensive user testing and recommendations.

The issue is that v8 allowed soft range check/override while v10 is a hard range check.

In the current MNDOC state master there are 977 out of 10982 unfinished attic records where the additional cost is outside the range -500 to 500

The largest additional attic discount is -3000 and highest additional attic cost is 11,000 dollars.

I would recommend an expanded range of -2000 to 5000 dollars for attic Other costs field ranges would have to be reviewed to determine the actual range of existing values, but it is safe to say that the use of the range override is fairly common.

Is it possible to provide a similar override in v10, otherwise, we would need to expand the range based on the range used (most commonly) in existing data.. as there are some outliers in every dataset.

No soft range check allowed in WAweb, so "similar override" not possible.

-2000 to +5000 attic additional costs added to incubator for discussion/consideration with DOE WA Technical Advisory Group. Target discussion in April 2024 - Incubator #149
