In v 8.9, there were Reference buttons allowing the user to deal with references especially for libraries and cost centers. The buttons opened forms which:
1) Showed a datasheet of places the record is referenced by other records.
2) Allowed navigation to that record where the reference could be changed record by record.
3) Allowed ALL references to be changed to another record.
Given that v10 disallows library edits if the record is referenced by one or more audits, if a mistake needs to be corrected, the library needs to be copied, THEN all the references need to be changed to that new library, only then can the mistaken library be deleted. This highlights the importance of having the Reference feature in v10. Without it, the user is forced to open EVERY audit individually and check the reference on the cover form which is quite onerous.
