ASHRAE cfm needed is wrong #96

ASHRAE CFM needed seems way off WoW

ASHRAE CFM needed seems way off WA

ASHRAE CFM needed seems way off Red calc pre

ASHRAE CFM needed seems way off Red calc target

ASHRAE CFM needed seems way off Red calc fan needed

Unless I am misreading the form, the ASHRAE page seems to indicate that we need 88.61 cfm for a house with a blower door of 3441 AND with a blower door of 1571 which can't be right.

I uploaded the desktop version filled out with target of 30% reduction and Post of needing 15 cfm of continuous ventilation.

I also used RedCalc with the same pre and target readings and a post reading that required a fan

It seems that the infiltration credit of using actual blower door measurements is not being taken into account. Running RedCalc without the infiltration credit puts things inline with what WaWeb is producing. Was this intended?

ASHRAE CFM needed seems way off Red calc no infiltration credit

It is working normally today. Not sure what the difference is. Still worth looking into?

Retested. Original issue persists through copied audit.

Workaround. Change value other than Blower Door inputs and resave.

Continues to appear intermittently with simple workaround. Additional investigation warranted and tracked by ORNL.
