CF v1.2 rev923 or ios v249 rev14 decreased functionality

These games boot to Wii menu (USB powered drive) or black screen (external
powered drive):

Manhunt2
MySims
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
Super Monkey Ball Bananna Blitz
Tiger Woods PGA Tour '08
Dance Dance Revolution HOTTEST PARTY *
Jilian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum *

They worked before I copied Wii Sports Resort and updated CoverFloader and
IOS to latest models.

Can't remember what IOS i was running before, but I tested these games on
two different Wii consoles and 2 different HDDs - both produce same error

Wii #1: 4.1U
Homebrew Channel #1: v1.0.3 showing IOS37 v14.28
CoverFloader System Information #1:
     --DeviceID: 105440005
     --Version: v1.2 (r923)
     --IOS version 249 (REV14)

Wii #2: 3.4U
Homebrew Channel #2: v1.0.3 showing IOS36 v12.18
CoverFloader System Information #2:
     --DeviceID: 74046865
     --Version: v1.2 (r923)
     --IOS version 249 (REV14)

HDD #1: Externally powered 3.5" USB 2.0 1TB w/ 1 WBFS partition
HDD #2: Internally (USB) powered 2.5" 160GB w/ 1 WBFS partition

* Honestly never tried these 2 games before I updated, but they don't work

1: Any ideas on why this handful of games quit working? 
2: Should I revert back to IOS rev9 (?) or CoverFloader V1.1? 
3: Will doing either prevent me from copying the newest games (ie: Wii
Sports Resort)?
4: Something I haven't thought of?

**** CLOSE THIS ISSUE ****

Tried these games using the configurable loader- it gave an error message when 
they
failed- "WBFS Panic: Error reading disc"  very helpful

Somehow, around the time of (or during) the updates to 1.2a and cIOS rev14 those
games became corrupted.

Dug the games outta the attic, reinstalled them and everything is back to 100%

If CoverFlow would have generated an error message this would have been much 
easier
