The newest Dolphin development build (5.0-21140) based on the above commit, adds this note to the error message: image

Doesn't make all that much more sense to me, I must admit.

Okay, so this one is a longshot, but I've done a fair lot of research over a 3-day period on "Error 109144" in Region Select, which I take an unqualified guess is why most of us in this thread are wondering about this AnyGlobe error.

My longshot theory is that it's caused by how default-configuration Dolphin setups have the Wii Number / Friend Code 0000 0000 0000 0000 by default. For Region Select, this means Nintendo's servers refuse to provide certain services to that Wii Number. It is (im)plausible that this could very arguably result in the Dolphin nightly build error above claiming an empty Wii path.

To check the Wii Number, go to Wii Menu (May need to run "Perform Online System Update…" in Dolphin first) → Wii Mail → the address book on the right, and see if you have a proper Wii Number with various digits (for example, let's randomly say, 1578 9910 2478 9520; I got that example from mashing my NumPad), or if it's 0000 0000 0000 0000.
