Just state diagrams for now
Copies the approach of the instrumentation code
All contained in diagram package
Saved in ./testdata/*.md
Generate with make test-diagram
Command-click (macOS) on the output paths to open in vscode, then preview with mermaid extension installed.

Ah, I misunderstood you previously, thinking you wanted to ensure that there was no intermingling with the current code. I'll work on that. 👍
