deleted blog testing
minor edit to index -- I ran into #1 again? Couldn't add <a> or Markdown to the notes item underneath subscribe so that it can link to /subscribe

Later...

Turns out you can't just delete without getting rid of a bunch of other stuff. Got it compiling.
