Module

Server/IIS/Zone edit Learning about designing/developing for web and about different platforms i.e. css for mac/chrome/IE Communication skills for speaking professionally to outside clients and providing technical knowledge at meetings (the first stage of business tech.... Requirements analysis or something?) (this one is kind of rough.... Not sure how you can word this but maybe it comes under ransomware?) Learnt the pitfalls of no backups/no version control/no organisation standards/no organisation in general I guess?

Individual Projects

Software Developer - OneFlow Systems

April 2018 - Present London Providing full stack development support to over 60 microservices used by multiple products; I also manage continuous integration and assist with kubernetes cluster management and deployment.

Project 1:

Ported the internal ui used to manage the status of our microservices from angular to Vue,js. This project was a great opportunity to use Vue and Vuex to load data from multiple REST apis and I learned a lot about how the company's microservices' interact. It also involved the use of Pusher to provide live updates to the dashboards.

Project 2:

Built a web interface as part of a three part product (Web App, Api, Native App) to manage the location of print batches across warehouses. The app involved custom a tree component to move and track locations and a barcode generator to generate downloadable stickers to track documents.

Project 3:

Build an api to handle the sending of files to a server mounted on a machine with access to print systems within a factory. This was built using Node.js and Swagger.

Project 4:

Build a UI for the support team to easily view any failed shipment requests and see the payload for the request that triggered the error.

Project 5:

Assisted with the maintenance and upgrading of the Shipment api, which managed the integrations between company systems and over 20 shipping carries including Fedex, Ups and Royal Mail.

Software Developer - Module Media

March 2017 - April 2018 London Involved the building of responsive ASP.NET Websites incorporating a SQL database powered content management system. I also managed and developed mobile apps and WordPresssites and regularly met with clients.

Project 1:

Applied a full redesign to http://thisissoho.co.uk, and worked with server side rendering to provide dynamic content.

Project 2:

Lead damage control when senior staff were on leave and we were hit with a ransomware virus. Managed data recovery and damage limitation and we'd recovered our in development codebase of several websites in 3 days.

Project 3:

Build an AR prototype 'snapchat-like' filter (using the polymer framework and AR,js) to send clients as a christmas gift and to promote the companies capabilities beyond website design.

Project 4:

Met with clients at an audit company to design an app / webapp combination to replace their existing system of collection data on a site and then pasting into a master pdf to deliver audit reports.

I developed over 12 responsive sites in my time at Module and helped maintain over 50 in a development team of 3,

June 2013 - August 2013 London Assessed mobile games app strategies and user flow during the signup process. Also worked closely with the development team to isolate bug causes and identified a case where many users were experiencing issues due to ad blocking extensions,
