Support SWTBot #571

I see that robotframework is currently supporting swing library to test
Java GUI ... Is there any plan to support any lib to test SWT program, such
as swtbot - http://eclipse.org/swtbot/ (a promising project support to test
swt project / Eclipse)?

Could you review and raise the priority for this task? There are large number
of SWT users waiting for this feature ... Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with
robotframework for now, but I'm willing to be a first user to use and test this
feature with our real project.
Thanks in advance.

The core development team doesn't have resources for taking responsibility of
new libraries, especially big ones like the one needed for SWT testing. If you
happen to work for NSN, the sponsor of the framework, you can contact us via
the internal mailing lists and we can see what we can do. Otherwise new
libraries like this one need external contributions. The good news is that
Robot Framework's test library API is pretty simple (see UserGuide for details)
and our team will definitely help with projects like this.

Laurent, this is awesome! You should definitely announce the project on
robotframework-users mailing list for others too.

Laurent, is the project ready an announcement on rf-users? I've seen it
mentioned on Twitter few times and you've blogged about it so it doesn't seem
to be a secret. I would also like to link it from the project pages and then
close this issue.

Awesome! We'll add links tomorrow. Could you send an announcement about the
library to robotframework-users?

By the way, have you noticed that I submitted an issue about the keyword
documentation not shown correctly on Firefox? This is a direct link to the
issue:

Replacing rarely used Type-* labels with Type-Enhancement to ease migrating
issues to GitHub.
