Why no results for Azure Synapse? #10

Is there any reason for not publishing results for Azure Synapse when you have the code in your benchmark to run it? I don't see any specific issues with the queries that you have in the microsoft_sql folder. Thanks, Bill

I have seen results with Azure Synapse and it seems much faster than any of the others. Maybe explains the reason :) https://gigaom.com/report/data-warehouse-cloud-benchmark

is there no offerings from Oracle Btw? Also Exasol had some good benchmarks, what about them?

We published Azure a couple years ago. We have very few customers using it, so we took it out, because it's a pain getting the benchmark to run on Synapse, because it's such a pain to even load data into it.

GigaOM's benchmark is terrible. It was sponsored by MS and it shows. See commentary in https://fivetran.com/blog/warehouse-benchmark
