Project Name Ditto is building a virtual event discovery and hosting platform for social, educational and health & wellness experiences.

What you're looking for

We are looking for a full-stack engineer to help us build a working MVP, which will be an event discovery platform.

Short Project Description Our mission is to connect the world through engaging virtual experiences. We will do this through our discovery platform for virtual events and tools for event planners to host, gather RSVPs and payments for their experiences (later). We are currently pre-product but have some early user validation The events industry hosts 2m events every year and generates $300B+ per year; there are multiple platforms for in IRL events discovery (meetup, Eventbrite) and for virtual event discovery (hopin, run the world), but not one for virtual event discovery. We will build that!

Team Bios

Javaughn Lawrence - I am an entrepreneur and former venture capital investor based in San Francisco; I have worked at Linkedin and Bain company. While in university I started a virtual events company focused on foreign policy discussions that was broadcasted in 57 countries; I also build a 3000+ meet-up community for ML engineers.
