Name Sanat Nayar (@sanatnayar) and Shriya Gundala (@gshriya) Skillset ML, Cloud Computing, Full Stack Short Bio Sanat: I am currently working for Qlik, and working with Cloud Computing for deploying BI tools and using NLP and bots to give a better experience for customers using BI tools. Also currently doing research at the local hospital involving medical imagery and image recognition. We are interested in a variety of different projects which provide a benefit to society at this point of time. I have experience in ML, Full Stack Development and Cloud Computing and worked in multiple internships along with leading 2 startup companies in the past.

Shriya: As a Women in Engineering (WIE) Chair at IEEE, I recognize the importance of expanding diversity in the tech industry. I have organized and executed multiple events related to Women in Engineering and I would love to expand my knowledge and network to better serve my community. Hi Sanat and Shriya, I am Vik, I have some experience in android and web application development using no code tools and Javascript programming. I am looking for teammates, although, I think am a little late to the party but am still hopeful of finding collaborators.

Over this pandemic, I believe most of us would have faced information fatigue and must be aware of some of the many misinformations that gathered steam. I am used to checking and verifying information that come through whatsapp forwards, and was frustrated by the long process it took and how they carry a lot of misinformation.

I had an idea to solve a part of this problem and am interested in building a product that tackles misinformation in social media platforms. I am a mechanical engineer by education, Data analyst by experience and since Jan 2019 have been developing software solutions for small businesses. If anyone finds the above idea interesting and captivating enough to team-up that would be pretty sweet.

And as i do not know all the skills that may be needed to develop this product, I would be willing to partner with someone who is more informed and experienced and I am more than interested in learning whatever skills are necessary to build an MVP. I have self-learnt to program in Javascript, HTML and CSS to build products for my clients. And I consistently tinker with new programming languages and tools while building new products.
