I spend quite some hours trying to figure out how to connect this package to my camera data, so I think it's fair to share the knowledge back to anyone who might try to use this

Just a note: it would be better to remap the topic on the command line than to change the source code. Doesn't matter much though, I suppose.

I totally agree @de-vri-es . However, I am not too comfortable yet with tweaking this package to this extend, so I thought of at least adding this piece of information to the documentation.
