6 months ago This was an oversight that was caused by a player buying multiple of the same items in different slots. Only the first item was designated as a job or LEO item, all subsequently purchased items were able to be moved, dropped, etc. without the intended restrictions.
As a result, civilians who searched police trunks would in theory be able to remove some items that were stored, but it appears no one took advantage of this.
The items and trunks need to be fixed so we can place any PD item into a trunk and no one but PD WL can remove them.
This is intentional, police trunks should be used for storing non-police items such as food, water, and civilian seized evidence. The glovebox is supposed to be used for storing weapons and equipment instead.
Is there an existing issue for this?
Current Behavior
Certain PD Items can be placed into a trunk, for example our Bullet Proof Vests. However, things that actually belong in a Trunk like Spike Strips, Cones, Flares etc can not be placed into a trunk.
The items and trunks need to be fixed so we can place any PD item into a trunk and no one but PD WL can remove them. Unless of course, that is something we want to allow people to steal out of our trunks. The Trunks should be able to hold all PD accessory items.
Our glove boxes, should be only AR/Shoutgun or Flash Bang etc.
