CNAME file must be kept as it informs github pages of our domain
README.md should be kept but I removed the reference to the script files
the permanent-files folder was used to host some redirects. I have migrated these redirects into jekyll so that is no longer needed
scripts folder I believe is no longer needed as it includes old publishing scripts. now we no longer need to build any flutter and can leave publishing to github built in jekyll integration
the landing-page folder was the actual flutter code for the website, that we are replacing
finally, the docs folder is where the built/generated website file were. it was probably called docs as a misnomer. it can be removed as the website now lives under flame-site
However, to support that change we will need to update the root folder here:
Which I can do after we merge everything to main.
In this PR, I also:
added a plugin to facilitate the redirects
fixed the 404 page that was not following our design
moved all the html files into a pages folder to make the repo cleaner
After some deep investigation of everything we have, I believe this to be all we need to actually flip the switch.
Please lmk if I missed anything!
I notice that several files are missing on the new branch. This is my attempt of identify, asses and determine which files should be kept or deleted.
First of all, it is imperative to note that our subdomains are being deployed separately:
I have included this information on our readme.
Now here is a breakdown:
In this PR, I also:
