Please:

  1. provide your Flameshot config. You can find it in ~/.config/flameshot/flameshot.ini.
  2. provide the steps you take that leads to this issue. (how you run flameshot, etc.)
  3. give the last git commit that you used to build Flameshot

Ok. My Flameshot is installed from the official Gentoo package (using the emerge tool). It runs in GNOME 45 with the 'Tray Icons: Reloaded' v.29 extension installed and enabled.

I just take my screenshots from the tray icon. I do a right click on the Flameshot tray icon and I select the context menu to acquire a new screenshot, I choose the area to acquire and then I do a click on the button with the floppy disk icon. At this point I should get the 'Save as' dialog but nothing appears.

My config is in the attachments.

I also tryed to replace the 'Tray Icons: Reloaded' with the "AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support", but nothing changed.
