Linux, MacOS, or Windows Package manager (apt, pacman, eopkg, choco, brew, ...)
Operating System type and version
Xubuntu 22.04
Description
I don't know whether this is a Bug or the behaviour is intended.
When there is a desktop file (*.desktop) with exactly the same file name in ~/.local/share/applications and /usr/share/applications xfce applications menu is ignoring the file in /usr/share/applications. When the file in /home has a different name or comment xfce shows the name or comment from the file in /home not the values from the file in /usr/share.
It looks like flameshot works different. When i have two file there are two entries in flameshot's open with-dialog. Is this intended or a Bug? I think its better when flameshots ignores the double files like xfce is doing.
