DF Chat Enhancements’ “Tint Chat Message Background” is at odds with Monk’s Little Details’ “Combat Round Messages.” #437

This screen capture shows Combat Round Messages clearly visible on the far left — white text on black — without Tint Chat Message Background turned on.

Compare with the rest of the screen capture. Tint Chat Message Background renders the combat message illegible because the white text is nearly or wholly invisible over the tint. I tried several colors and none are helpful.

Maybe the Combat Round Messages should be chat cards like the others? Or maybe Tint Chat Message Background shouldn’t color CRMs? Or maybe an option to color the CRM or automatically switch CRM text to black? I posted on both channels and hopeful for a prompt solution.
