When using the inventory, you can cycle between 3 modes:
All Items (Creative only.)
Inventory + Recipe Book.
Inventory Only.
In singleplayer, the game saves the inventory state on a per world basis but this doesn't apply to servers.
Instead the inventory state persists as long as you are connected.
Reason
This feature would have this singleplayer behavior be consistent with multiplayer.
Removes the need to always change the inventory state when joining servers.
