Could you expand on what you mean by different results ?

What I notice is that when using the "+" syntax the word highlighting no longer works. the "all discussions" link also doesn't appear active.

The result of the search seems to be mostly identical. The few ordering differences are probably down to the way the SQL query works.

The problem was exectly in highlighting. Results are the same.
