hrm. The problem with that is either it'll include a very small number of mods or need to have some sort of big delicious something offered to those modders that bother to add their stuff to KD. There's lots who don't even know of IRC, I imagine.
alternatively, a simple version compatibility matrix (possibly with up-to-date links) that could be managed by the community is a possible solution
I'd totally do it, and SilverFox's would be hilarious :D
compatibility matrix?
Oh, I get it. I was thinking more of a "where is this mod at, and where is it going" kind of thing. A modder could right their own and submit it via github, and when asked (ie. .modstate Kerbsplosions) Kountdown would print off that file.
that's a pretty bad idea actually, it's an IRC bot we're talking about
Ya... but it's an IRC bot for channels based around a community where mods and modders matter. This combined with the "this-modder-made-what" thing would be actually quite useful. At the very least, I'd use this to bug SilverFox about his fucked up weather, and I'd use the "this-modder-made-what" thing to figure out who the hell people are.
It'll be helpful.
