after booting up app, after i select the rom, screen goes black, phone crashes and reloads... what do?

I have a droid thunderbolt, I have yet to have a successful play with the app. 
My fault?? Or apps. I'm not. Computer expert but I know a thing or too.  Rom 
wouldn't play compressed or extracted

Does running the app from a fresh boot have any luck?

Make sure you have valid roms for Sega Master System or Sega Mega Drive.  There 
are tons of Sega systems out there.

I have a Polaroid PMID701i, running Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich), in 
which I'm having the same issue on all ROM Images for the Genesis/Mega Drive. 
I'd load the ROM in GENPLUSDroid (Ver: 1.9.3), it goes to a black screen, then 
back to the menu. I'm also having the same issue on SNESDroid (Ver: 1.4.2) as 
well.

Same issue here. Upon loading rom I get a black screen and then it hops back to 
the main menu after a few seconds. I'm running on a galaxy s3 latest version of 
ice cream sandwich.
Note: immediately after rebooting The phone, the first time I try to load a rom 
I get controller buttons on the black screen Before it jumps back to the main 
menu.

I'm getting this most of the time. Nearly every time I load a ROM I get this 
problem, even with ROMs that I have previously had working, on this phone.

I'm using galaxy nexus running 4.1.1 jellybean.

Ditto to the above topics but the game I'm trying to play is Lunar SSSC albeit 
I can't find a compatibility guide online to see if this game is supported to 
know if it's actually a compatibility issue or the same issue as everyone else.
