[ ] subscriptions / recurring donations
[ ] creating invoice objects so we collect / withold tax appropriately, selecting a tax code for the app using a lookup table based maybe on its category? Games vs Productivity vs Utility vs everything else?
[ ] exposing functionality for verified developers to manage their own flat-manager tokens for direct uploads

This issue was created following a quick chat with @ramcq and can be use to scope the definition of done and the track our progress from a high level. We can discuss this further and add more detail next week when @danielsilverstone-ct is back in the office

My proposal is roughly to re-purpose WP4 as "overflow" for wrapping up more complex parts of payment handling that we maybe didn't (all) understand the nuances/complexity of at the start of the project. I'm imagining WP3 as close to completion as an MVP for one-off payments/donations for apps using a direct "payment", and that the original scope of WP4 is otherwise quite straightforward - as the subset functionality already exists in Flatpak and @jameswestman is (I believe) looking at adding it to flat-manager at the same time as the "token required" metadata.

WP3 is complete and WP4 is scoped somewhat more clearly in #256.
