Is this abandoned? There hasn't been an update here in over 7 months and the current version of this software published on flathub is incompatible with my workspace using WSP.

You are welcome to submit a PR to update it to the non PCOIP version. It hasn't received any updates because there has been no updates for the legacy client.

I'm not sure I have the technical skills required to develop a new version of this pull request. I would love to see a WSP compatible version released though. I would be happy to assist with testing this.

Its a bit more complicated than just updating it from 4.7.0 to 2023.2. The "new" client doesn't seem to support only WSP workstations. Though Amazon on the installation page says the new client works with both....on Ubuntu 20.04 (https://clients.amazonworkspaces.com/linux-install). I don't know if its possible, but there must be a reason it only supports both workspace types on that Ubuntu LTS release. Could building the Flatpak with an older runtime make it work with both workspace types?

This launches now but entering anything in the registration code box crashes it with:

thread 'main' panicked at 'failed to execute process: Os { code: 2, kind: NotFound, message: "No such file or directory" }', /codebuild/output/src2635799403/src/git-codecommit.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/v1/repos/SoloClient/src/linux/client/src/action_handlers.rs:59:10
note: run with `RUST_BACKTRACE=1` environment variable to display a backtrace

Without access to source code or help from Amazon developers this is impossible to debug. Strace does not show anything useful.

Yeah I don't have any thoughts on where to go from here on this. Neither the 20.04 nor the 22.04 work in a flatpak. One interesting thing is that AWS now has S3 buckets with Debian repos for both new clients: https://clients.amazonworkspaces.com/linux-install
