It was working fine until it stopped working, I restarted the PC and it didn't start anymore.

Hi, I just realised mine isn't working either, and although the messaging is different, there seems to be something clearly wrong with whatever this "atk" thing is.

My specs,

I'm also having these issues. For what it's worth, I've still been able to run AnyDesk by switching it to the 24.08 runtime.

So, the command flatpak run --runtime=org.freedesktop.Platform/x86_64/24.08 com.anydesk.Anydesk has worked for me. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

auburn09 commented 1 month ago

This command worked for me too. But I still get an error in the message. I checked it on two devices.

flatpak run --runtime=org.freedesktop.Platform/x86_64/24.08 com.anydesk.Anydesk Gtk-Message: 09:23:52.618: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module" Gtk-Message: 09:23:52.674: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module" Gtk-Message: 09:24:57.434: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module" Gtk-Message: 09:24:57.891: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module"

I can confirm this issue, thanks for bringing this up and thanks for the workaround (which works for me as well) @GabePoel! I wasn't aware that the 24.08 runtime was released, I opened #145 to update it, however the pangox compilation seems to be broken at the moment. Also no idea why the 23.08 runtime stopped version. My spare time is a bit limited, if somebody wants to dig deeper this would be very welcome!

Same problem... how would I adapt GabePoell command for Ubuntu 22.04

flatpak run com.anydesk.Anydesk Gtk-Message: 14:24:36.501: Failed to load module "atk-bridge" Gtk-Message: 14:24:36.546: Failed to load module "atk-bridge"

También tengo ese problema. Creo que una actualización pudo haber causado esto, ¿verdad?

flaubert-dev commented 1 month ago

Here also the same problem. It was working yesterday. Today when I tried to open AnyDesk on Endless OS 6 it closes automatically 😱

DanielLazaro1555 commented 1 month ago

In Ubuntu and Zorin OS, it is also failing :(

der-eismann commented 1 month ago

@DanielLazaro1555 please comment in English.

Really weird that it started to happen so suddenly.

I just pushed an update to AnyDesk 6.3.3, which was released 3 days ago (but of course it's not listed on the download site, thanks AnyDesk ). For me it started working again, although in the changelog they only mention:

Improved overall handling of expired licenses

It will take a while until this update is pushed and available everywhere, but I'd be happy to get some feedback if it helps. If you need it urgently you can also try the command from https://github.com/flathub/com.anydesk.Anydesk/pull/147#issuecomment-2365049825.

der-eismann commented 1 month ago

Unfortunately there was no feedback, but I tested it on two systems and it helped, so - fixed by #147

TomaszGasior commented 1 month ago

@der-eismann I confirm that it's fixed on my machine too after last update.
