Using Fedora Silverblue with Flatseal only allowing specific file paths.

  1. Right Click on a torrent/content/move data files
  2. Choose a destination that's a folder within the flat seal allowed folders
  3. The dialogue shows up but does nothing at first
  4. then you click resume and it starts showing progress
  5. When it's done the file is still showing as seeding in Bigly but can't be found anywhere in file managers
  6. Right clicking on the torrent to 'show/open file' is unresponsive
  7. Restarting Bigly has no affect
  8. Deleting the torrent and re-downloading it in the same file path also doesn't work.
  9. Downloading to a new path does work.
  10. Deleting the torrent data from bigly does work.

Do I maybe need to allow access to a /tmp directory?

Giving access to all user files fixes this issue

I will try to have a deeper look. But maybe something is messed up on permissions, have you tried resetting permissions to the defaults?

I think this issue is linked to the same problem as the other issue I posted. Some directory needs access but is lost if you disallow access to all user files.
