I have installed Pulseeffects via flatpak. When I press the icon I get this could not find program 'pulseeffects'. So I binded the run command as a shortcut. So pulseeffects is now running, however dark mode does not work anymore. It worked shortly after install, but now will not turn on eventhough the silder/button says it is. Please help the light is blinding me!

The dark mode switch just asks gtk to apply a dark mode theme. All the rest is up to gtk. Are you sure there is a dark gtk theme installed?

I have several however none of theme seem to be working. The switched make it dark initially however it does not anymore.

But are they for gtk3 or for gtk4? If Iremember well gtk4 ignores gtk3 themes. And depending on the desktop being used (if not gnome) a custom ~/.config/gtk-4.0/settings.ini file may also be needed I think.

I am using breeze-dark gtk, which is for both gtk 3 and 4. If it supposed to be a gtk 3 or 4. Could you recommend a theme for me to see if it works, or should I paste in my settings.ini. (If it helps im using kde)

Now I remember that PulseEffects uses gtk3 and not gtk4 like EasyEffects. Breeze should work. Try to follow what is suggested at https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Uniform_look_for_Qt_and_GTK_applications#Breeze. If it still isn't enough then most likely some configuration is broken. Which PulseEffects version are you using? Although its development is discontinued in favor of EasyEffects I think that the dark theme should still be working.
