It would be nice if PWA icons showed up as Window icons. This is how it looks like rn: image System info:

I'm not sure what needs to change for the icons to work as expected. Maybe it's not the flatpak app's fault, and Fedora or KDE is missing something.

Likely a problem of Edge not using the Dynamic Launcher portal, so it can't integrate as nicely with the system. This is a problem for most PWA users; the best thing I can recommend is to just use GNOME Web, as it uses the portals properly.

This works properly on GNOME, so something is different about KDE here.

ChocolateLoverRaj commented 8 months ago

On KDE the icon appears in the search menu and while it is launching, but not after it has launched. Another indication that this is a bug on KDE's side and not with this flatpak.

Interesting. That would also seem to align with many issues KDE has with icons, I guess.

I'm going to assume that someone already reported a bug on KDE and some day when I reboot into a new version of KDE PWA icons will be shown perfectly.

I've found that in KDE this can be solved with a Window Rule.
