3 years ago I believe I'm seeing the same issue on Arch Linux, Gnome 3.38, using the beta (26.0.0-flathub-beta) package installed using instructions from this suggestion. Adding a desktop or window source succeeds, but output is a black screen rather than a screen copy. Adding logs below. @GeorgesStavracas please let me know if this looks like a separate issue & I will open one. Also please let me know if I an help with further debugging.

3 years ago Same issue here on KDE Neon with PLasma 5.20.2, Wayland session, and OBS flatpak installed. I have only a black screen. The OBS flatpak package should have the plugin "obs-xdg-portal" included, but I can't find it.

3 years ago Same problem when try add gnome terminal or sublime text 3 window as source (xcomposite) on ubuntu 20.04 lts and obs 26.1.1.

3 years ago error: xcompcap: glXCreatePixmap failed: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)^^^ indicates the driver reports there's no available memory to create the temporary buffer to capture.
Platform
Installed using the the Flatpack Operating system and version: Ubuntu 18.04.5 OBS Studio version: 25.0.8 (64bit)
Expected Behavior
It should display the Chrome or Opera Browser in the OBS Studio Screen Preview
