I think there are a few issues with newer library versions that will be resolved with Alpha 27.

E.g. fmtlib and the latest fedc update of the Boost module resulted in a failed build as well: https://github.com/flathub/com.play0ad.zeroad/pull/80

Alpha 27 builds fine with 23.08, but I can't test it right now:
